• Finally.........

The nannies and kids can go outside night and day freeing up some time to update the site!

    Hello all.

After a very mixed spring and extremes of weather the goats at Black Foat Farm are happily relaxing in the sun or under the hawthorn trees. The new kids are bouncing up and down the hill playing. All are loving the dry weather and fresh spring grass. But hasn't it taken it's time coming?! Goats just hate heavy rain and wet, muddy feet. Not just that though; being so cold meant the grass was slow to get going and a lot of extra feed was needed. On the plus side we have had lots of new kids, more girls than boys this time.

Thanks for your support at the local farmers markets even during the cold weather. We have had a lot of positive feedback. We would also like to know if there is anything we need to improve on!
